Shari Aldrich, LMP
All About ShariShari has been a massage therapist since May, 2006 and an instructor of massage since July, 2006. She specializes in Pain Relief treatment, Injury Treatment, Sports Massage and relief of chronic pain syndromes. Shari has completed courses in Neuromuscular Training with certification pending. She uses the techniques learned to measure her client’s posture to help formalize a plan of treatment that immediately improves chronic pain syndromes. Deep pressure is one of Shari’s specialities. Additionally, she has begun courses in Somatic syndromes - including visceral problems, TMJD and cranial problems. A study of cranial posture with treatment of the muscles of the eye brought her immediate relief of eye strain and she’s excited to bring this treatment into her practice! Shari credits her teaching experience at the Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage as a driving force in her quest to continue learning. Her students appreciate her teaching style and she has discovered that teaching massage helps to reinforce her own education. Additionally, she has been blessed to travel around the country to places such as New York, Chicago and Miami to assist teaching a course titled Secrets of Deep Tissue with Robert Haase, founder of the Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage. A love for teaching has driven Shari to create her own continuing education classes to teach other massage therapists. Shari says that she gets the most joy in her work when her clients health improves. She loves to empower her client’s in their own care giving them full credit for their improving health. Shari played 30 years of organized softball (fast and slow pitch), soccer, basketball, bowling and trained for and ran the Seattle Marathon in 2004. Her sport experience is invaluable in working with sports related injuries. Shari has signed up to accept insurance and is pending approval. She currently accepts L&I and PIP clients. |
